The Best Year of My Life

As the 2009 year comes to an end, i would like to say Thank you Jesus, for making this year the best year of my life. When 2009 began, My God had promised us that the year would be the best year of our life. We all thought that it would be the best in many ways. we thought that we would've won the jackpot somehow, or people would find the perfect dates, or we would be better than everybody else. So be it, it did turn out that way, we got all those blessings, just not the way how we expected it to come.

God works in mysterious ways. This year my dad got saved, and it wasn't the way how i expected it to be. It started off with a argument that my dad had with our pastor, then lead to a huge turn-around that stunned everyone. God showing up in his room. Then God provided a house for us, he saved my family, and it all happened because of his perfect plan.

This year a lot happened; even if i start explaining some of the things that God did for me, this page would stretch from NY to the Great Wall of China. So much fun things that i only dreamt of experiencing, God made it a reality, so much marvellous friends, so many Great experiences, so much fellowship, and activities, things i always wanted to do. God made it all possible this year.

I don't think saying thank you is enough for the things God has done for me. He deserves way more. In fact i don't know if there is anything great i could Give him to show my appreciation and thanks for. That is why i chose to give him me. To give him my life, and surrender myself to him. Being able to praise him forever, and having my praise rising up to his nostrils like a sweet smelling savor is something that i believe he would love. What an Amazing God he is.

So, at the beginning of this year God gave me a promise. He said if i want anything to just call on his name, if i need anything to just knock and the door will be opened. He never failed in that promise. He did 100% gave me everything that i asked for. What a prodigious unfailing God he is.

Things such as opportunities, inclines in grades, incredible blessings, Egg hunts, Fun Summer day camp, BB Q's, Parties and rejoicing in the Lord, amazing friends, Youth meetings, and Youth activities, Gala's, Christmas treats, Thanksgiving charities, and so much much more, were only some of the many Fun things that God Made possible this year. they all added up to be the best year of My life.

In conclusion, this year was the BEST YEAR OF MY LIFE. Not only because of those things that i mentioned above, but because i met Jesus. The best thing anyone can ever ask for, or ever want, or ever need, i got it ! I got so much closer to God, not because i found him, but because he found me. and I cannot even describe how amazing it was to stand in the presence of the Almighty God that created this universe with only his voice. How wonderful of My God to say " This will be the best year of your Life " and mean it in a way that i could never fathom, or ever imagined.

As i sit And start counting the many blessings that God provided this year, I would burst out crying. Because it just amazes me that Jesus is who he says he is. And he does give us the desires of our heart, and he never fails us. And everything else about him is True. He is A God that simply amazes me.

Thank You Jesus for the best year of my life (2009)... I would've never imagined it to be the way i expected it. Now i cant wait to see what God has in store for me in 2010. :-)
