Have Patience

PATIENCE !... The thing that most human beings lack In. As I flowed through my days this week, I stumbled upon The sounds easy to do but not "P" word. In fact, when im writing my blogs I let the Lord lead me into writing what he tells me to write. But waiting (patience) for him to tell me what to write does not happen in a flash. I always have to be persistent and wait for him to direct every word.

For all my years as I walked this earth, Jesus Christ has been the Lord of my life, even though I never knew it before, he still was, and still is and will always be. He created me, he gave me breath, and he molded me into his own marvellous creation. Ever since I was born, patience has been my objective. Even at points when I couldnt wait any longer The lord said to wait just a little bit longer.

When Jesus Christ really came down and saved my life, I had to tell people. I was just like the women at the well. When Jesus christ met her and gave her life, She had to tell everybody. So telling everyone about Christ was my bigest ambition. I couldnt help the fact but keep anything in. But the most difficult person to tell was my dad. My dad was literally the strictest/rigourous/leading/serious hindu in my family. Nothing whatsoever on this planet couldve ever made him change his religion. He never even wanted to hear the name of Christ. How could I ever tell him about the true saviour and expect him to believe ?

Well.. I prayed and prayed and prayed, and it seemed like nothing was ever happening, in most cases it felt like my dad was getting more into his religion and denouncing The one true God more than before. The Lord said "Patience". I knew that God wouldve handled it somehow. I mean even if he literally had to come down into my fathers room and scare the pants outta him, that wouldve been enough to convince him. Needless to say, The Lord really did show up in my dad's room. When he shared his testimony, and told us all, tears fell from my eyes as I listened and knowing that patience had finally payed off. My dad knew Jesus Christ, currently serves him, and is the administrators men leader at our church. Amazing at what God can do if only we just have a little patience.

You see, God said he would give you your every desire. He never said he would give it to you right away. He always shows up in the brink of time, and the best thing about his timing is that its always perfect ! When everything goes our way, patience is easy to demonstrate. The true test of patience comes when Faith is small as a mustard seed in our lives.

Patience strenthens our faith,

Patience encourages our great endurance,

Patience helps us overcome our trials,

and patience always gives us hope.

The bible says that patience is one of the fruit of the spirit. We cannot lack to wait, because patience reveals our faith in God's perfect timing. Just like how The Lord said "No man knows the hour nor day that the son of man shall make hs appearance. We have to be Patient and wait for him !
