Confounded by the Spirit of the Lord

My relationship with God is flourishing everyday. Stimulating my life with the Lord's holiness is all i could ever want, dream, or ask for. Its like, as the days pass my faith and relationship with Christ grow capaciously. Undying love and grace spills over like a Pot of Oil, that runneth's over. I cant bare his Love, because its so confound, and i feel as if The bigness of God's spirit is too much to contain in my puny being. That's exactly what every single human that walks the face of this planet has to do. Be Confounded by the spirit; The spirit of the Lord.

As I walk to school everyday, I cant help but examine the students around me. Teenagers holding a cigarette in their right hand while the left hand is confidingly encompassed around the waist of a 14-16 year old girl, having the cigar being passed to and fro. Or noticing the group of gangs with their pelvic girdle (crotch) almost touching the earth, or seeing the group of guys hanging out by the deli corner planning their next fight instead of being in school. It all boggles my mind, but guess what ? I love these people. I love them as My God loves them. I love them, just as Christ loved us that he gave his life for the sins of humanity.

You see, there are many people out there that live like this. Mostly teenagers of course. People my age. Instead of living the way that their parents dreamt of them living, they choose to live life by following the wrong crowd. Today i had a conversation with my cousin Cindy. She always mentions to me that I'm the best person to ever talk to. We always talk about the goodness of the Lord, and how He leads us, and basically how amazing he is. Before we hang up the phone we always pray. And must i say, the Holy spirit loves it, because usually i always end it with tears. But today after we prayed, we noticed that instead of us talking about materialistic things, about parties, girlfriends and boyfriends, we choose to talk about God. We choose to pray and Thank God that we have life and have it abundantly.

As we prayed we also mentioned the youths of this generation. That they live the life that God planned for them.

What good comes from smoking or drinking ?
What satisfaction can a boyfriend or girlfriend give you that God cannot give you ten times over ?
What pleasure does hanging out with a gang give you besides getting you into trouble ?


There is only one thing that gives you satisfaction, pleasure, goodness, and life worth living for and that's Living for God. My example in living for God is "mind-blowing". He gives me anything i want. What more can i ask for ? He leads me in righteousness and there's always something good that comes out of it. He loves me, cares for me, and takes my burdens away. Now that is something that i can assure you of. And he never lets me down.

Most friends in this world today will let you down. I cannot speak for everyone, but i experienced that. A world where most people don't care about what you endure. And most of them are the friends that you think have your back. Even if a friend may be your companion for the time being until hard times arise, i know a friend that will be beside you 24/7 every day, week, hour, year, second/moment of your life, and His name if Jesus Christ. Even If you don't believe that, then i encourage you to just try him. He wont disappoint you.

I pray for the teenagers of this generation because most of them need to know who Jesus Christ is. They need to be loved, cared for, and they have to meet this friend that will never fail them. Most friends will carry you but they might not bring you back. I'm blogging today to tell you that Jesus Christ will take you, walk the extra mile with you, and bring you back ! That's my Jesus ! and that is the truth.

There is nothing that God cannot give you. Live and follow him and everything else that you ever wanted will be added unto you. Thus sayeth the Lord.

-I will continue to pray for the youths of this generation, the ones that need the prayer. If you read this and your ages 12-21, I want you to know that God loves you and that he cares for you and he will forgive you regardless of your past. I can assure you if we start praying together we can make a difference and God will answer and touch teenagers with a blessing that no one can comprehend and Teens will definitely be Confounded by the Spirit of the Lord.
